Born in Yinchuan, Ningxia. He graduated from the Industrial Design Academy of the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology.
His keen understanding of product design and lighting landed him a job as a photographer for “Car and Driver” Magazine China, during which, he developed a strong skill set for photo enchancement and touchup. Around this time, he also served as the official photographer of CTCC Changan Ford Racing Team in the China Tou ring Car Championship and attended all competitions for two years.
He was part of the production of “Top Gear” China and contributed his ability of film and postproduction for auto related projects. In the same year, he shot an online video for the Mercedes Benz SLS, which received client adoration. Thus began his career as a commercial director and joining of Cat and Mouse Production.
As he filmed more commercials, he began to develop new ideas for his films. His New Balance 997.5 spot, which he was the cinematographer received awards and nominations for multiple creative advertisements of the year. Later on, Experiment Of The Smart filmed for Tencent also won the Bronze Film Award in the Film Festival of the Asia-Pacific Advertising Festival and a nomination at the Cannes Advertising Festival.
He has worked with all types of companies that include 361°, Tencent, Volkswagen, Buick, Chevy, Honda, Infinity, Sony, Beiqi, Benefit, Shell, Oppo, New Balance, Panasonic.
