Lavender Chang is a distinguished figure in conceptual photography, celebrated for her time-based and process-driven approach to creating contemplative imagery. Her work has earned national and international acclaim, including recognition from the Singapore President Design Awards.

Chang’s extensive exhibition history spans prestigious venues such as the Singapore Art Museum, the National Gallery Singapore, and the Peranakan Museum, where she has been commissioned to create compelling artworks. Her work has also been featured at international exhibitions including the Bandung Photography Triennale and Sundaram Tagore Gallery New York. She was also invited to give a TED talk at TEDxNTU: Pause to Progress, where she shared insights as an Observer of the Intangible.

Her involvement in filmmaking has continued to flourish, with her works like “Their Remaining Journey” premiering at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in 2018, earning her a nomination for the Bright Future Award.
