Celine Qian is a versatile film director and producer with an international presence in Los Angeles and Shanghai. She earned her MFA in Film Directing from the New York Film Academy and a BA in Commercial & TV Production from Shanghai University.

Celine has produced multiple award-winning short films in Los Angeles and served as Assistant Director on Netflix’s The Boys in the Band. Recently she has collaborated with Golden Horse winning director Weng Ziguang on Penny Pinchers (2023), and directed commercials for brands like Li-Ning, XiaoHongShu, Brooks Brother, Wonderland, Alibaba, Tencent, KFC, McDonald’s, and Lenovo. Celine currently holds an U.S. O-1 Visa, granted to individuals with extraordinary ability in the arts.

Whether it’s blending artistic vision with complex storytelling or shaking things up with fresh ideas, Celine continues to shine in both the film and advertising industry.
